Copies of Copies by Nicholas Hak Hong Ng (Malaysia)
"Copies of Copies was an extended series of silk screen prints that focused on questions of originality and authenticity. The prints integrated hand-drawn images, handwriting and found commercial typography with the unplanned abstract textures that the medium affords. Through this practice-based inquiry I explored the questions 'what does it mean to be original?' and 'what is the relationship between originality and authority?'"
Nicholas is now a full-time lecturer at KMUTT
