Body Obsession by Kanya Sriratanasomboon (Thailand)
"Through "Body Obsession" I questioned dominant notions of beauty in
Thai society. In particular I explored the ways in which media
representations of women pressured them into suffering in order to get
closer to an ultimately unattainable form of beauty. I explored these
themes using a combination of sculpture and photography."
