Pete's Reflection 03

This week, same, through political situation in the past until now, I am playing around with the keywords: Exquisite Corpse & Thainess.

Exquisite Corpse (for 3-4 players)

With one paper, fold it into 3-4 parts (mostly are 3). First person draws whatever he wants on the top section in the paper, allowing the lines to cross the crease by a few millimeters. The next person unaware of what previous player has drew and let the little lines from previous player guides to unexpected journey and so on.

From this method, I adjust a little bit as I was introduced to a film by Apichatpong Weerasethakul (Mysterious Object At Noon, 2000) which he also used this method in the film. I brought some parts of the text from the article that I felt there are some ideas share with Thainess nowadays. I gave the players (my family and my close friends) the ending phrase of each sentence (...allowing the lines to cross the crease by a few millimeters...) and let them gave me something back. At last I combined the original paragraph with what I have got from them. It became a immediate echo or dialogue between the Thainess' definition from the past and players.

Furthermore, I will play around with these methodology, create more visual works and hope to find something more interesting behind Thailand politics problems.
