Color + Language

When you perceive the color by seeing or hearing the language of it, then the image of that color will automatically appear so I start to concern about the relationships between color and language by question that How does language affect what we perceive(color). For example the word "เหม็นเขียว" เหม็น(Mhen) is Stinking, Bad-smell / เขียว(Keaw) is Green. เหม็นเขียว means Bad smell, Acrid from some kind of leaves when eaten. so in this case green seems like in a negative way but if I respond directly to the word เหม็นเขียว it is like when you are seeing Green color you also smelling it very stinky. I did the experiment by visualizing the example of greens, that which green can match to the word เหม็นเขียว
